Defending Skipper Cup champions Suva travels to Prince Charles Park to take on INKK Mobile Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy holders Jack’s Nadi on Friday.

This is the feature match of this weekend’s Skipper Cup matches.

Suva rugby head coach Solo Nute said they are going to Nadi to win.

“We treat every game as a final,” the former Suva prop said after their win over Naitasiri, last Saturday.

“We’re here to win. We wanted to test our set piece and Naitasiri gave that to us. That is to prepare us for Nadi.”

Nute said Nadi is not an easy team to beat on their home ground.

He highlighted that the win over Naitasiri has been on their defence. Playing with 14 players, Suva defended their try-line for most part of the final quarter of the match and denied Naitasiri from scoring a try.

“Our defence is our main weapon,” Nute added.

Meanwhile, an interesting battle looms at the No.10 spot where Suva captain Enele Malele is expected to face former team-mate Serupepeli Vularika.

Vularika played at No.10 for Nadi and combined well with inside centre Tuidraki Samusamuvodre as they plotted Nadroga’s 22-12 loss.
