No Ukrainian EU accession without Hungary, says PM Orbán

“What Hungarians think is not decided by the president in Kyiv or the bureaucrats in Brussels,” Prime Minister Viktor Orbán commented on social media platform X on Sunday on the Ukrainian president’s claim that the overwhelming majority of Hungarians supported Ukraine’s EU accession.

“There is no Ukrainian EU accession without Hungary. Every Hungarian will have their say on this. Whether you like it or not. That’s how we do things here,” Orbán said in his post on X.
