Hi everybody, I'm meteorologist Hayley Lapointe. Here's an update on your forecast. May has been *** wet month, currently standing at the 4th wettest May in Concord ever. And we've got another 1 inch or so of rain coming over the weekend, which is in time for the last day of May. We may actually get up into the number 3 spot with about another 1 inch of rain, and it comes on *** Saturday as well. It'll mark the 11th straight Saturday with measurable rain. The last dry Saturday was in the middle of March. It's been *** long while. Some scattered showers have been moving through this evening, so there's *** chance of *** sprinkle and then heavier rain that. See to the south and west of us, this is the moisture, the energy that forms the next system that moves over us on Saturday. Temperatures tomorrow will be on the warmer side in the mid 70s because of the sun, we'll see. But then with the rain coming in Saturday, temperatures back down into the 60s, warming back up slowly but surely through the early part of next week. In fact, could be into the 80s by the time we get to the middle part of next week. So through the evening we'll see partial clearing, maybe *** few. Areas of patchy fog during the overnight. We'll start out with *** mix of sun and clouds for Friday and then in the afternoon, *** few more scattered showers or even *** brief downpour can't be ruled out at any time. It looks like through Rockingham County, southern Stratford County, *** better chance of this tomorrow later in the afternoon and evening. Then here comes the steady and at times heavy rain. This is 6 a.m. Saturday morning, just some heavy downpours passing through. The computer models actually moving the system along *** bit quicker, so by 1 p.m. it is possible we see some sunny breaks in the southern part of the state and then getting even drier toward the evening hours. But impact weather Saturday, just due to the fact that we'll have the heavy rain, it'll slow travel down *** bit in the morning hours. *** few scattered showers Sunday. Peak of sun later on in the day. Tonight low temperatures falling into the 50s and then tomorrow, mostly 70s with *** mix of sun and clouds. Saturday, the downpours come through and then lighter in the afternoon. Sunday scattered showers. It's breezy and cooler, and then *** warming trend will head closer to 80 by the middle part of next week.
