Congo: Petroleum Code and License Round Update

CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA, October 13, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- HE Jean-Marc Thystere-Tchicaya, Ministere des Hydrocarbures de la Republique du Congo, Brazzaville, Congo

Following formal ratification of the new Petroleum Code by Parliament, HE Jean-Marc Thystere Tchicaya, Ministre des Hydrocarbures de la République du Congo, will provide details on the Petroleum Code together with an update of the 2016 License Round.

The Minister will also host a Technical Roadshow covering the following topics -Code/PSC/Local Content, Introduction of next License Round (2017-2019),
Marine XX – Presentation of new 3D seismic data, SNPC presentation, timing,
terms and conditions presented during the Roadshow, and with Senior Ministerial, DGH and SNPC Representatives in attendance.

The 2016 and 2017 – 2019 License Rounds and Roadshow is supported by PGS.

The Ministry and SNPC have an Exhibition Booth at the Conference, open from Monday to Friday and the Government Delegation will be available for private meetings at the Conference.

The Roadshow is only open to registered Delegates at the 23rd Africa Oil Week 2016.

Attendees are invited to join this important occasion and to participate in the Congo Roadshow event, as well as be present at the Minister’s Opening Announcement on Tuesday 1 November, as well as hear presentations from SNP, the Ministry and PGS and meet and engage with the Ministerial Delegation.
